The Four Boutique Hotel is the right choice for visitors who are searching for a combination of charm, peace, quiet, and a convenient position who wishes to explore. It is a small, comfortable hotel, situated on the valley, Punakha with the excellent view Point of Phunatshang River, in line with scenic view of small Khuruthang town [A shopper stop]. The hotel have well trained staff headed by General Manager, Manager and staffs, and who are determined and well personalized to provide hospitalized service through-out your presence with us. The hotel is arranged with three floors, without a provision for lift. On the ground floor, apart from the reception, there is a comfortable lounge, the walls are painted with Bhutanese Art and the above chandler's have hand painted Mandela painted by our own experienced Bhutanese painter, your check-in shall be best; drink and read while you wait. Attached to lobby, just to "Enjoy the hospitality" A deliberate karaoke to express your desire for singing and take a time for yourself "no stress just relax". Moving towards the 2nd floor, we have simple modernized Multi cuisine restaurant with a space for 80 pax, peeping through glasses; your eyes shall be mesmerized with luxuriously seat-out at Patio where you can lighten up with cup of tea/coffee watching the early morning impression and day to day activities passing by. The rooms are arranged on the 2nd and 3rd floor each floors have 10 rooms each, from where you can enjoy the wonderful view, with internet connection, mini bar and a modern bath room, Extra beds on request. [All rooms are non-smoking]. Also our hotel has business conference with 25 guests' seats with free wifi.

Bhutan Travel Policy

Department of Tourism

1. Mandatory Fees (As of 2026)
-Sustainable Development Fee (SDF): A daily levy used to fund national healthcare, education, and conservation.
-International Adults: USD 100 per person, per night (discounted rate valid through August 31, 2027).
-Children (6–12 years): USD 50 per night.
-Children (Under 6): Exempt from the SDF.
-Indian Nationals: INR 1,200 per person, per night.
Visa Fee: A non-refundable, one-off fee of USD 40 for all nationalities except Indian, Bangladeshi, and Maldivian citizens.
-New 5% GST: Starting January 1, 2026, a 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST) apply to tourism services (hotels, transport, guides), though the SDF itself is exempt.
2. Visa & Entry Requirements
-Advance Visa: All foreign nationals except those from India, Bangladesh, and the Maldives must obtain a visa before arrival.
-Application Process: You can apply online via the Department of Immigration or through a licensed Bhutanese tour operator.
-Passport Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date.
Indian Nationals: Require either a valid Indian passport or a Voter ID card to obtain an entry permit.
3. Travel Regulations
-Guided Travel: While visitors can now customize itineraries, a licensed guide is still mandatory for travel beyond Paro and Thimphu and for visiting certain cultural sites.
-Permits: Specific Route Permits are required for travel outside Thimphu and Paro, and Trekking Permits are mandatory for mountaineering.
-24-Hour Waiver: The SDF is waived for casual visitors staying less than 24 hours in designated border towns (e.g., Phuentsholing, Gelephu).
